Lettuce Pray. Ha, just kidding!

You see, I was blessed with some lettuce seeds from another lady in the state in the mail. I was so excited for the variety and the Mr. built me a lettuce stand. I transplanted the seedlings and they were doing real good until the heat wave happened…then they all bolted. All of it was bitter, none of it “good” to the taste buds.

Well, today I harvested more seed and laughed. I had more now than I was given in the beginning! God is good and nature has a way of wanting to keep thriving in “life” even when it’s circle ends, it has more to offer.

Sometimes when chaos happens and conditions don’t go as WE planned…the end result is still double than our original portion…if we just have that little mustard seed of faith.

It wasn’t a “failure”

I love gardening. Just glad we still have grocery stores as I learn how to love lettuce throughout it’s whole life cycle.
