Some days, I get really heavy…from what I hear, what I see, what I know, and what I’m told to “fear not”. I don’t expect others to understand anymore; I just hope they will extend grace and space to let me.For I freely feel my existence. I don’t always have it “perfect”, but through the vast seas of e-motions…I find peace. Peace that never has left me. Some days, I cry deep oceans of tears. They crash into the shorelines of my soul and Spirit; the border of two microcosms colliding from the pressure of the cosmos. Until the beating and beating and beating turn into a harmony. The salt purifies the soil..but one must irrigate deeply. It is essential to accommodate “new” possibilities. -Danielle (3/12/25)
Then God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” Genesis 1:6 NASB“Thus it is written: ‘God said, let there be an expanse (raki’a)’ (Genesis 1:6)—do not read ‘expanse’ (raki’a), but ‘tear’ (keri’a).”[1] Maybe life is just everything that happens in the tear.
Jesus wept. (John 11:35)
