Godly Confidence

The below image has really impacted me this week. Thank you, Justin Beiber!

Google states, “Justin Bieber has 294.5 million followers on Instagram as of March 16, 2025.” MILLION. And Jesus only had 12 and even then, not all followed Him all the way to the cross. I think that is awfully humbling — to anyone.

Watching Hollywood persecute Justin after turning to Christ and becoming a father has been a really big flex of the power of God. However, I must admit–the term “imposter syndrom” does not always reflect someone’s heart in comparison to the box culture and others want to put you in.

This post took a lot of courage– although it was shortly broadcasted. It was a gem of a message. What does one truly deserve from God? What can we offer the Creator of all things–from the universe, to a star…some that turn into a supernova (8 times larger than our sun & “may reach a maximum intrinsic luminosity one billion times that of the sun”) all the way down to the small ant that struggles lifing 10-50x its weight.

Some humans have been called supernova’s, meaning they explode into popularity. Beiber is one that understands that best. He was so young and was preyed upon by those already in the fame and they abused their false power and really hurt him.

Now, I view Beiber more like an ant. Humbled down to being human and seeing the facade of the systems man has created for themselves. I believe his repentance is genuine and many do not discuss the personal guilt and shame that happens when you come to the Lord. The closer we get to Him, the more exposed we are to match True Righteousness and therefore we lean into His grace and repent for His mercy upon us because we are ALL truly unequipped and underqualified outside of Jesus. It IS Jesus that makes everything come together just as the Creator intended– Finished by the Word of God who came in the flesh of Jesus Christ “τετέλεσται” (Tetelestai) meaning “It is finished”. He is the Lamb slain at the foundation of the world, and the Alpha and Omega. No one comes to the Father except through Him and He is the Key to All the Kingdom.

This post gave me hope this weekend — to just take small steps no matter how big the weight, and eventually I will “get there”. Wherever “there” is, God knows. Wherever “here” is, He will meet me right here and never leave me or forsake me. It just takes one step after another in the wilderness to get to the Promised land.

Prayers for the Beibers and may he be released from the entertainment system that has tried to grip him and stole his innocence. May the enemy return 7 fold for what it stole. I pray protection over his child and may they grow up to be a voice shouting from the wilderness by being raised from a father trying to do his Father’s business now.

Blessings and Love, Danielle
