This weekend was spent separating the European Nightcrawler bin. Over winter they did well inside the shop. The bin was full of new babies and worm cacoons.
Separating the mature worms, babies, and cacoons was tedious work but I was really impressed with the quantity over winter.
Each caccoon should hatch 3-5 baby worms.
