Beyond Evolution is there God after Dawkins?

Today is my moms birthday. 1-23-54. Got some plants today, mom. Happy birthday we are creating more of creation.

I randomly grabbed her journal, and the first page began:

“Dear God–whew–where is this fountain you said I could drink from? I can’t seem to find it. This has been a hard hill to climb, and I don’t know how much of it I’ve even climbed. It seems not far–“

I empathize with her. 2025 was one for the book. A lot of trusting and stretching towards the light at the end. I won’t say it was a tunnel. It felt more like a vacuum. Perhaps one of those turbo charged, super suckers because the pressure was intense for me. Our bodies are quite remarkable with the amount of pressure and stress it can handle; then it adapts. Growth.

Her journal dropped some loose-leaf pages:

“Each of us come from infinity. And commits to a specific genome, a specific environment, a specific family, a specific history, and a specific set of desires. We experience the world through this unique filter. All this gives us is the illusion that we are a separate consciousness.

But, if we look not at the contents of Consciousness, not at what we desire and not what we know, what ARE thoughts and what ARE values, but at Consciousness itself. At that which HAS those desires, that which knows that knowledge, that THINKS those thoughts; then, we realize that consciousness, that TRUE SELF is the same TRUE SELF for you as it is for me, as it is for all living beings and Consciousness really is non-local, really IS indivisible.

Infinity – God- takes care of our survival just with the precision of single cell development — with the precision of processes going on within each body’s hundred trillion cells: quadrillion processes absolutely precise and specific coordination.

no rush. no hurry. learning is fun- we have all the time in the world.

Are you aware of the complexity of a living cell? Of a single celled creature which has a genetic system, and which transcribes, translates its genetic code and which folds, manufactures and delivers the resultant proteins with the same precision that we do ours? Which senses its environment, has a way of distinguishing what is to be approached ant eaten from what is to be avoided. Which digests food, eliminates wastes has a complete metabolic system that makes all these processes possible, replicate and grows and has a gene sharing system which is available to it when necessary and is so wondrously complex that it rivals anything thing we humans accomplish biologically today and which has within its membranes thousands UPON thousands of protein molecules. Molecules which this cell manufactured itself. Each and every one of which is, itself. A high-tech biological machine whose precisely engineered shape, precise pattern of changes and precisely arranged chemical opponents/components –allows it to do an absolutely specific task necessary to the survival of…. the cell.

And this according to all evidence was the very “simple” beginning of life.

Theory is inadequent to explain the complexity of LIFE AS WE KNOW IT.

The problem is not that it is difficult to grasp, but that it is wonderous.

Evolutionary Biologists who are committed to the idea that everything about living organisms including the origin is explainable by some scientific laws and by the slow but random accumulation of accidents does not want students to feel overwhelmed, wonderous or awestruck by transcendent complexity of their own bodies

…..too bad.”
